Thanks for the screen shots. Have you ever given consideration to thumbnails that don't take a minute to load on a high-speed line? That way we could be choosier about which screenshots we choose to load.

Especially for those of us who browse at work, a minute is a long time. It would be appreciated!

We release our patch for Football Manager yesterday so the only thing I can think of is that the servers are clogged right now.

Every time I go to look at screenshots, it's painfully slow. At first I thought it was just jammed up, but it happens every time, and I'm on a really fast machine at work.

Sorry, I could not resist:

Twas the night before TRTR, and all thru the forums, not a OOTP junkie was sturring, not even an emoticon.

The pre-orders were made with e-license with care, in hopes that soon, OOTP2007 would soon be here.

The junkies were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of FaceGen danced in their heads.

And Markus in his ballcap, And I with bat, had just visited the forums for one more chat.....

Anyone care to continue this?

SI released a patch for FM yesterday, so it is REALLY slow right now, I can't even get in to see the screenies. FM players noticed that the Beckham transfer was to the wrong club (different Galaxy than LA), and so they are fixing the patch, and I wouldn't be surprised if they are uploading the fixed patch as of this moment, since their old links are deleted. I guess I'll wait a little bit before I look at today's screens (and before I DL the new FM patch).

I think it has to do with the traffic. When I try to view them in the morning they are painfully slow, but at night they take now time at all.

I can't get to the screenies at all right now, but in general the load times are always very slow for me, for all SI screenshots, in part I guess because what looks like a thumbnail is a 1MB+ image shrunk down. I don't know for a fact that they are that hi-res (since I can't get to the site) but they are definitely large.

btw, Is Christmas Day 8 p.m. C.S.T. because that is when Friday is in Western Europe?

And here I though Christmas was going to be in March this year.
