I've passed it along, but we're getting pretty late in the process, so it might not happen.

Just to clarify, L/R splits are already there. They're just a little "buried" to use MidKnight's phrase.

They don't seem buried to me. For each pitcher and hitter you have:

Career, Spring, Home/Away, Current Month, Today, Career vs R/L (depending on opponent), Season vs R/L, Base Situation Stats, Inning Situation Stats, Pitch Situation Stats

Plus for each hitter you have his career stats vs. that Pitcher.

Not quite sure what else you'd want...other than making the font bigger.

No. You want inflation in your fictional league? You have to do it manually.

And because I don't, I won't. Thanks for the info!

Sorry, I should have clarified a bit. They are definitely there as they were in OOTP2006, but personally I find it is a bit hard to reference quickly amidst the other splits.

The webcast screen is still too clutered IMO. The pitch location graphic is nice though.

Well damn guys, what's wrong with it? It's a screen to have a lot of stats laid out in front of you. If you don't want all that, use the other screen.

I like it,I like having a lot of stats to view.

SFGiants88, I'm half teasing, so don't take it as I'm giving you a hard time, but...

This may be the only thread that says there are too many stats in OOTP!

I agree about the webcast screen. It's not that I'm against it. I just wish there was a better way to consolidate some of its information with the broadcast screen. I would like to see the Pitch Placement / Sequence placed on the broadcast screen, even if it has to be shrunk up a bit. (And of course, I'd rather see the weather on the broadcast screen too!)

I'm all for keeping the webcast screen. I just hate having to switch back and forth between views. IMO, the webcast screen should JUST be stats that can easily be accessed during a game.

I'm not really sure of the best way to go about consolidating everything on the in-game screens without making things too cluttered, but I'm sure that'll be the first mock-up I tackle once the game is released. (I already have one in-game mock-up posted, but it's based off of OOTP'06 and I'm determined to create something better.)

Technically, inflation is handled via the financials.txt file and a league setting where you specify if you would like to automatically import historical finances. If you set your fictional league to automatically import historical finances you could have automatic inflation in your fictional league. You can also edit the financials.txt file to give custom inflation/deflation and even extend it into the future if you like (beyond 2005).

Hey! I really like that broadcast screen you did!

Well the problem is that Pitch Sequence Graphic is exclusive to the Webcast Screen. Thus, if I want to see the graphic, I am forced to be in Webcast mode. Either that or switch back and forth, which is not desirable.

Along those lines, I echo Muzamba's idea that the Pitch Sequence graphic be included in the Broadcast Screen.

To me, at least, I find it more in line with the visual theme of the Broadcast screen as opposed to the statistical theme of the Webcast screen.

On a separate note, I would personally remove the Ballpark Factors in the Webcast screen so as to make more more room (and thus easier readability) for the other stats.

Just my

I'll put in my vote to have the weather on the broadcast screen too. Any reason it couldn't be incorporated into the banner at the top of the screen?

Yes. I'm still going to try to use Bobble's replacement batter images rather than old uni-nostril, however.

Most in game decisions are made off what's happened during that game and more specifically during that period of the game, and not the current season. I don't care if my SP is 15-1 on the season with a 0.74 Era against L/H batters. If he's struggled in the 5th and 6th and then gives up a lead off single to start the 7th, those stats are what matters to me.

Is this file in 2006 or just 2007?
