Is anybody still planning on using PHOTOS???? I know you guys are all hyped up about FaceGen, but what happens to the images of historic players?

Are we organizing them for 2007?

I know that I am - I am a fan of photos for my historical .lg - and will plan on using them. I have not seen any word about putting together a set for this year, though I would imagine that past sets will work just fine (at least I hope).

I think Face-Gen will be a godsend for fictional leagues.

But for "real life" MLB leagues I plan to keep using pictures. I'm hoping someone will produce a set of 2007 major league and minor league photos and post it at ootpmodsquad before April. Someone in the Mods forum is working on one, as I recall.

Using real pics really heightens my enjoyment of playing a "real life" league. But for fictional leagues, Face-Gen is going to rock!

What I plan on doing is using the real photos for however many people I can. Then when the new talent starts coming in,they get the Face Gen system. Seems simple enough.

nothing wierd happens to them.

1) you can use historical photos
2) you can use FaceGen images
3) you can use both together

if you are asking whether or not OOTP is organizing a set that includes 2006 players? no, OOTP is not, but others are.

No, I didn't catch Larry A's update for 2007, and Gambo's 2nd update on MODSQUAD is the same as the first (as far as I can tell). But the response here has been most helpfull.
