I think I remember reading some where that pre-orders would have early access to the game. But I don't remember where I read that, or if its even true lol. Can someone verify this (and if so, how early)? Or am I losing it

You're not losing it. I think it was that 100 random pre-orders would get the game early.

I think it is 100 preorders get very early access, possibly by several days, and the rest get a several hour head start on 3-23-07.

Firstly, you'll get the game before anyone else (last year pre-orders got the game downloaded from exclusive servers hours before anyone else), plus providing you've signed up to our mailing database you'll get the chance to get a small discount on your purchase.

I preordered the game the day after the notification that they were being accepted, but I didn't receive any e-mail regarding a discount until a couple days ago, so no discount.

There were discount emails that went out, I think for 20%. If you pre-ordered to early, I'm sure you could contact SI (Marc Duffy) and get that discount applied.

Well, I feel like I got a much bigger discount than 20% already because I would have been willing to pay considerably more, but I won't say how much more because I don't want a special price for me in the future.
