Another good wite-up!

One thing I notcied on the new pic, Philidelphia has struck out 152 times and are 1st in SL1, but it's Cleveland's 226 K's in 8th place that has been bolded.

As someone commishing four leagues currently (too much free time? I just think it's too much love for OOTP), the new online system sounds tremendous. Using 7z compression is great as well - I use it to back up my end-of-season files now (those suckers were eating up all my hard drive space).

Looks like another HR for Markus!

Damn... the online capabilities sound impressive. Maybe I'll have to bring the Xiang Nan Green Dragon back to the OTBA for the third time.

Great work on the online stuff, guys! The news on a retired.dat and .7z compression is especially good to hear. These will not only bring down file sizes but speed things up too! The Commissioner helper will be a very welcomed addition to many commishes out there too I'm sure. It was indeed time things were made easier for the commissioners. The custom award is great too, but only one? If all this stuff ends up being as good as it sounds, I just might have to come out of retirement from online leagues.

I agree! Along with solo play, online is one of the top two ways to enjoy this game.

I don't know. I kind of like just staring at the startup screen. Here's to hoping for longer load times!

I thought that I read somewhere that head to head was possible.

So why wouldn't it be possible for online leagues?

Because for online league there would have to be a way to send the game results to the commish. That is not a part of the game right now.

Hot seat head to head is possible, but not online head to head.

Would that be a big coding adjustment to make it possible Markus?

I think that would be a very nice feature.

Adjustment? LOL That would be a massive feature which would require at least a full month of coding!

Wow, forget it then. You have better things to do that's for sure.

Maybe 2008 like Marc said.
