Player Happiness Pre-Free Agency question

Hi,

I was curious as to the effect player happiness has has on players if free agency is turned off? historically, while players in the pre-free agency period had the reserve clause that automatically re-signed them at the same terms of previous year (in order to break the reserve clause the player basically had to sit an entire season, which was rarely done), many stars would report late to spring training or site= out at the start of the beginning of the season in an attempt to hold out for more money. Is this at all reflected in this year's version? In other words, with free agency turned off, do players make any salary, and can they attempt through various methods to get a raise, either through poor performance or missing games, etc...

Players make a salary with free agency turned off, but not with all financials turned off. In 2006, I never saw anyone try to hold out for more money. I doubt that has made it into the game at this point.

Be a great thing to include for non-free agency leagues trying to simulate old-style aspects of the game...
