Marc: "Markus, the posters are revolting."

Markus: "D'oh, I have known that for years."

No, a Mel Brooks fan. Ever see "The History of the World, Part 1"?

Count de Money (Harvey Korman): "Your highness, the peasants are revolting."

King Louis (Mel Brooks): "You said it. They stink on ice!"

Mel Brooks has never received the comedic credit he is due. The man's a genius. Trivia: the Benjy Stone character in "My Favorite Year" is based on Mel Brooks as a young man.

I've actually never seen that movie. I remember seeing that joke in a Wizard of Id comic about 20 years ago or so. The king was standing out on his balcony and the people below were chanting, "The peasants are revolting!" To which the king said to himself, "You can say that again."

Yeah, I've always meant to but never got around to it. We do have Blockbuster here but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to find that particular movie. They usually don't stock a lot of older movies.

It was funny, not silly. There's a difference.

Marcus Vindictus: Don't you know your right flank from your left flank?
Captain Mucus: I'm sorry sir, I flunked flank.
Marcus Vindictus: You flunked flank? Get the flunk out of here!
