Mods released in reasonable timeframe this year?

Hey guys,

Good to see there's a lot of excitement this time of year.

I was wondering if the modders had gotten this game early this year, and if so, what's the progress on roster sets/logos/stadiums/etc.

I spent the money on v2006 last year assuming I'd be able to have an MLB roster set within two weeks of the games release. This was far, far, FAR from the case. I think Cubby's was released with Majors/AAA about three months after

Now in no way am I trying to be rude or picky-- since I'm sure one or two of you guys used my roster sets for Hardball 5 back in the day (if you can believe that!

), so I know what kind of work goes into these things-- and there was a lot less depth to do back in those days, but I'd really, really, love to see rosters come out after a week or so and not three months-- last year's lack of roster sets was a big turnoff for me, and is probably the main reason why I'm not preordering the game right now.

So... Cubby, RolenFan, anyone else? Do you/they have a beta or at least a file structure so they can work on rosters before the game is released?

Well, speaking for what I've seen, I know that I have logos and ballpark images at my website that are ready to go for 2007. I also have Gambo's photo pack ready to go, and APujols photo pack is only a couple of days away...

I guess that would leave the roster file.. Not sure who is working on it, but I can tell you that as soon as it is ready, I will ask to host it...

There is a roster in development. But take in mind, that the people doing this have other things in their lives that will come before roster work, like jobs and families. and don't forget you can download the newest Lahman database already, and then just import in a league, Not that it's going to be up to date and be as complete. But it can tide you over until there's a quality full roster mod
