League History & Fictional Leagues

Two questions. 1. With OOTPB 2007 will I be able to created a fictional league but then import a league history of past statistics and World Champs up to the year before I start my league? For example, I am thinking about managing the 1976 Seattle Mariners (1st year in the league) onward. But I'd like past stats of player and past World Champs for content of my league. 2. If I want to have a historical league what data base do I download that is compatible with OOTPB 2007? I recently downloaded lahman 5.4 Microsoft Access version but they had a comma-delimited version too. I want to what I need so I am read the day my CD arrives. Thanks

Yes, one of the new features is that you can import the entire history included in what ever database you use. You would need the comma delimited version of Lahman, or any Lahman-like database.
