Let's get the planned Mods organized!

Since alot of the community is getting a chance to take a look at the preview I think it would be cool to get together a list of the mods which people plan to do or are currently working on. In this way we can focus our efforts in the following few weeks before release.

Just give a name and brief description.

Mine are:
1) Gambo Database.
Ver 1.5 is already done. It will import every player available for any given season (majors and minors and missing) and subsequently import rookies each year as they make their profession debut as apposed to their minor league debut.

2) Ballpark Database (Excel Format)
I currently have ballpark information and approximate ballpark factors for almost 600 current and historical ballparks. Along with this I have over 500 ballpark images for the game. (both day and night). This is and cleaned up and more user friendly version of the one echopapa and I did last year.

Mine:

BigDog Photo Pack... combines the wonderful effort of Gambo and others to collect pics for his DB but with an extensive addon of current minor leaguers, US Indy leaguers, Many foreign League players and now with the inclusion of feeder leagues, Most NCAA Division 1 players as long with huge batch of top HS seniors.

First release should hit Padresfan's wonderful site sometime tomorrow. Then I will work on adding more college and foreign leagues to the collection as well as updating any new MLB pics. Then once Minor league websites start updating, I will work on replacing as many of last years pictures as possible. I plan on this being a continual work in progress as I will always be keeping it current and up to date for my own purposes

FWIW, I plan on launching an OOTP "link repository" site in the near future. I know it's not a mod, but it will be a valuable resource (I hope).

I've been busy filling in missing strikeouts for the early years, based on actual league strikeouts at the time. Naturally it isn't official stats, but it will make it a lot more playable in the game.

I am also adding innings played at each position, including each outfield position. I don't know if it effects field ratings or not, but I am adding that for my own use basically.

Are you modifiying the Lahman database?

MLB Jerseys logos and real colors
MLB caps logos and real colors

AAA teams logos and real colors
AAA jerseys logos and real colors
AAA caps logos and real colors

AA teams logos and real colors

A teams logos and real colors

Short Season A teams logos

Rookie league teams logos

If i have time I'll work also on AA and A real caps and jerseys.

I'm hoping to set up another "Fictional Universe in a Box" set-up as I did for OOTP2006. Hopefully, I'll be able to set up a world template for a major league system, minor leagues, and a couple of international teams...jerseys, logos, stadium pics, etc included.

I'm planning on updating the mod that I made that splits the U.S. into regions. This time I also plan on adding the sub-regions too.

I'm also planning to work on jerseys and cap templates for early 1900's teams.

Does anyone have script fonts and/or PhotoShop templates for creating the team city/nicjkmaes on Jerseys? I'll try and grab as many names as I can from cephas photo libraryand other resources, but I expect to need to make quite a few custom ones. This should be added to any mod library for sure.

I did a historical logo set I got from Chris Creamer's site that Comedian2004 used in his AULogo program if there is any interest in it...

I will most likely be working on Totally Raderick's 2007 MLB Logo Set from scratch in the next few days. It'll include:

All 30 MLB team logos, in primary and alternative form
All Minor League Logos from Single-A up to Triple-A. Anything below that I will work on the go
All Event logos such as the World Series, All Star Game, etc.

I'm planning on doing quite a few new facial hair textures. Also, I was planning on updating my 2006 skins to 2007 and hopefully, create a new skin or two.

I'd like to get into the 3D models but it looks like they're a FaceGen proprietary format. Anyone know any more about this?

WrightWing, I'm already hosting this file on my Mod Website, but I gave credit to Comedian. Please check it out, and if it's your set of logos, (and if it's ok with you) I'll change the credit...
