A question about how Lahman import settings work

Here's a question I've had brewing for a long time but I haven't gotten around to asking because I've had trouble verbalizing it.

When you set a league to import historical stuff from Lahman, there are some settings to adjust, like whether to base potential ratings on a player's best year or career average and cutoff points of AB for statistical adjustment.

Do these settings stay with the league for life once they have been set, or do they revert to some sort of default? Is there any way to change or adjust them for future years? I haven't come across anything, but maybe I'm just missing it.

Well, obviously I don't know about 07, but in 2006 your historical import settings would revert to default numbers when you closed the program.

So, if changed the import settings from the default, then closed the program, when you re-started it, the import settings reverted to the defaults. This was very inconvenient.

I don't remember reading anything about this being changed, but I could be wrong.

Thanks. That sounds like previous versions, I think.

I wish there would be a way to set these for a particular league and edit them when we want. I have always found this annoying to deal with.
