My planned game with questions

I wanted to setup a universe with 24 ML teams (12 AL 12 NL) with full minors as well as a feeder league or 2 and 1-2 international/winter leagues.

My question is I think I will need 120 feeder teams to support the ML, won't that make the game run so slow? I know we are hearling reports about how fast things are but just thinking about 120 teams makes my machine start crawling.

Will that many feeder teams make the universe more feeder centered than ML centered?

I created about 150 feeder teams and they simmed very quickly.

System specs make a difference, so without knowing that, it would be hard for anyone here to gauge what may or may not happen for you.

From what I understand, the game gets bogged down faster if you sim a lot of years with a huge number of teams, but all new leagues play at about the same speed.

In other words, your 2007 will go around the same speed as a 2007 of someone with a more basic setup, but your 2027 may be significantly slower than theirs.

That is the kind of thing I experienced. I like to go ahead and sim a few years to get some history, but the game bogs down quite a bit by then.

I only have about 500MB RAM. I was just looking for comparison from v2006 to v2007 with 100 extra teams thrown in.
