Rotation Size/Options

Ok, here's the thing. I like to have 4-man rotations. But I like to have the teams use their highest rested starter. In the first version of 2006, it defaulted to use most rested, regardless of rotation size. Markus changed it in one of the patches so that if rotation size is less than 5, it defaults across the league to strict order.

What I was wondering, is if that is still the case with 2007, and if so, whether it is too late to make it an option so I can set it back the way I like it?

I use 4-man rotations in my deadball league and am pretty sure I can have highest rested OR strict rotation . V2006 with last patch.

He's talking about the league-wide defaults. In '06, all the computer teams will use strict order with a rotation of fewer than 5.

O.K. Have just checked. You're right. I just seem to remember in earlier seasons some minor league starters who had about 15 of their teams first 35 starts, but I guess that was before the final patch.

This was actually just discussed in the beta forum. It's still strict-order for reasons of historical accuracy (Highest Rested with rotations < 5 results in top-of-the-rotation pitchers getting too many starts).

It kind of has to be that way.

Ok, thanks for the info. No chance of an option in the league setup?
