Historical plus feeder (and stranger things...)

OK, I created a 1979 league with MLB, full minors, a high-school feeder league (ages 14-18) and a Senior League (35+). Two things I noticed:

*In 1980, MLB doesn't seem to add any new real major leagues from that year, drafting only feeder-league grads instead (it's set for "Feeder league + additional players");

*When I fill my initial high school rosters with fictionals, the players are the correct age (14-18). But when I fill my initial Senior League rosters, most of them are under 35 (and yes, I adjusted the settings so the minimum age was 35 and the minimum age for created players was 35 also.)

Thoughts?

Scratch that; teams are, in fact, drafting both real major leaguers and fictional feeder-leaguers.

One thing though: the game doesn't seem to differentiate between older kids and younger kids. Obviously, 17- and 18-year-olds should dominate a league of kids between 14 and 18, but the first year's MVP was 15, and the top pitcher was 14! (And maybe the heights and weights should be looked at...one 14-year-old boy is listed at 6'5" and 240 pounds! )

When I was a freshman in high school, many eons ago, my friend was the starting pitcher on the Varsity team as a freshman, made all-conference for 4 years. I have another friend whom I did not know in high school, was the same thing, given a free ride to San Diego State and was drafted by the Cubs. Age in high school should not matter, it is the ability to harness the skillz.

But really all I want to do is play.

So I'll try harder to be patient and hopefully the board will be patient with me.
And yes, I am still continuing my campaign to promote adding a 'mass select' option to Out of the Park 10.
