You'll get your official answer soon enough, but I would seriously doubt that you can purchase with a gift card. Most online purchase stores will not honor them. I wanted download some music after getting a gift card last year, only to find out it could not be used.

The VISA gift card should work. It acts just like a VISA credit card in most cases. As long as the gift card has the VISA logo, an expiration date, and the Card Security Code you can use it to purchase. The Card Security code is the 3 digit printed (not embossed) code on the back of the card.
The OOTP pre-order does not require the Credit Card's zip code, so it should work fine. Some vendors require the zip code which makes these gift cards difficult to use online. |

Just some links for the Visa gift card if Marc needs a reference point
http://usa.visa.com/personal/cards/p...gift_card.html http://usa.visa.com/personal/cards/p..._card_how.html Banks usually offer them directly as well. Here is Charter One's gift cards, they say that their cards are accepted anywhere Mastercard is. http://www.charterone.com/pf/cards/giftcards.aspx

VISA gift cards should work but the gift card value must exceed the total transaction value or the transaction will not go through.
The gift cards are treated as a credit card but with a fixed limit value that can't be exceeded. |
