Also, I think an NDA would've defeated one of the stated purposes of the preview.

I've signed many beta-tester style NDA's, but as you mention, most software also has an agreement you must accept before install & for the v2007 preview I just clicked right through it without reading it (it's long & boring). I think I recall it saying something about Sega not being responsible for any physical injuries that result from playing the game for too long
