This is the only thing Daylight Savings Time is good for.

The rest of it I could do without. Like one less hour of sleep. I am just glad that Daylight Savings Time is given an extra month so that we can save the planet.

Just remember to change the batteries in your smoke alarm(s) also.

Don't forget that SI is based in London, and Europe isn't changing three weeks early.

And before some asks.

Summer Time starts in the U.K. the last Sunday in March [March 25th].

I sure do hope that is what they call it in the U.K. or I will be .

Not just any old Summer Time, it's British Summer Time!

One slight correct...it is Daylight Saving Time (not savings) that is a very common mistake.

Did you know that about sixty years ago you Brits used to have Double Summer Time? My grandfather told me about it. Not just +1 hour but +2 hours.

They sometimes talk about messing with it again, with Winter at GMT+1 hour and Summer GMT+2 hours.
