Heh. This reminds me of an issue I'm having with avast. Along with other AV programs, I installed their anti-virus on an old computer with virus issues. Once I was done I wanted to uninstall it, but it wouldn't and I found out I needed to install another program of theirs to uninstall their AV program (isn't an AV program supposed to get rid of stuff you can't get rid of, not do that itself??). So I try to download it, but the link doesn't work. I think it might be temporary, so I try again later and then a day later and again until finally I email their support asking for a direct working link. What do they do? They send me a link to a webpage that should have a link to it, but the link he gave me doesn't work either! Anyway, you'd just think software vendors would make things a bit easier for people who might be interested in actually buying something from them.

With OOTP I always felt that:

1) they should get their links organized (they have so many domains and webpages that you really don't know where to start or go and I don't think even they have a handle on their own jumble of links and pages) so that things are simpler for everyone and

2) that what they really should do with their downloads pages is actually give some space to one of the people who run their own downloads page and let that person organize the official downloads page because those people usually do a better job of it anyway including much more of what someone is likely to want with links that almost always work because they're quicker to correct them when they're pointed out to them.
