If you have significant others I suggest a few things prior to the release of OOTPBB2007.

For those of you who have wives, girlfriends, or any other type of partner I suggest buying them dinner, flowers, a movie, a puppy or whatever may float their boat because your time with them will diminish " just a tad" {cough...cough} () and we don't want bickering now, do we. So please, I urge you to do whatever it takes so that your significant other will not crush your legs, hands, ankles, feet, ect due to you playing to much OOTPBB2007. This may be your final warning and I suggest planning ahead now.

Let me see, how many times have I heard/seen this statement before - just about a month prior to release of the last 4 versions of OOTP.

Nothing to worry about - OOTP will still get played the same as it does now. Real life will always dictate the amount of time available for playing computer games.

Not for us single gamers. For us, the amount of time we choose to spend gaming will determine how much of our time we have left over to work or go to class and to chase women and drink.

Boy the 23rd is sounding like Feb. 14 now.

I would think it would be a good idea to try to play after your significant other is asleep at least for the first weekend.

1. Drinking
2. Chasing Women
3. OOTP
4. Work

This probably most accurately represents life at it happens.

I forwarded the original post to my wife and she replied with the following

I'll take a paid off credit card, dinner at Jed's once a week, ___________________________ (learn to pause the game). Oh, and if you start referring to it as "OOTPBB2007" I swear I'll break both your knees. XOXO

edited for children's eyes.

The really scary part is that as far as I know all our credit cards are paid off. Hmmmmm?

Sounds like you're in trouble man.
Maybe we should start some sort of association for us OOTPBB simmers in order to cope with the possible chaos that lies ahead.

We'll call ourselves "League Of OOTPBB Gamers" - "LOG". We'll get together on a certain night of the week in the OT Forum. From there we can plan our next moves of defense and strategy.

Each to their own. As a true gamer, my order goes

1. Gaming
2. Gaming
3. Gaming
4. Drinking
5. Chasing Women
6. Work/school

I find it much easier to chase women when I have been drinking. Not only am I stark raving handsome afterwards, but if I have had enough to drink I am also incredibly charming and completely irresistible to women.

Haha! The release of the next OOTP mean my fiancé and I start drafting all-time teams.

I blame OOTP for not having a girlfriend or a wife!

I want Captain Walrus's fiance… and one of The Wolf's girlfriends.

But really all I want to do is play.

So I'll try harder to be patient and hopefully the board will be patient with me.
And yes, I am still continuing my campaign to promote adding a 'mass select' option to Out of the Park 10.

Just get your wife into games. I never have to fear any wrath because while I'm spending hours with OOTP, she's next to me killing murloks or something.

LOL... yeah I have not even mentioned to my wife the release of this game. Also with a new baby makes it a little difficult to dedicate a lot of time.

But I am going to try anyway...I hear sleep is overrated....
