So does this mean I'm going to get (insert huge number) of news/emails about low minor players who have little or no hope of making the big leagues gaining or losing a insigifiant amount of talent and still having no hope of reaching big leagues?

Im worried about the same thing. The only way that I see that this can be effectively useful is if former all-stars are struggling to match their numbers of years past. Any minor league player that has seen a significant drop in numbers, uhm, I dont really care to read EVERY one of those... just my 2 cents. |

Skews the News
Well, some of the most interesting stories, to me anyway, were back in 6.5 when a guy would randomly come out of retirement. And one of the better fixes for 2006 was the ability to RETIRE or UNRETIRE a guy. Does anyone know if these are possible in 2007 and will there be stories to go with these actions?

in 2006, it feels to me at least that the only reports I get (about 4 or 5 a month) are from people who's talents/potentals are both in the 20's. I can't think of more than 3 times in 8 seasons where I've gotten an email about someone who was part of my plans having a rating change. Is there a way to limit the email/news to say people above 50 talent/potental?

Now I know how most posters get to Hall of Fame level. ![]() I hope that it means that if you propose a trade a rumor would come out, or that if a player becomes disgruntled, it would cause this. Last edited by okcyankee : 03-14-2007 at 03:03 PM. |

This stuff does not belong in your news/email. It should be part of the development report. Injuries belong in the injuries report. I don't want a bunch of email telling me a guy is injured. I can get that info in the injuries report.

As far as the news goes, I am pretty sure you only get the league news, nothing about minor leaguers unless you are playing from that league (AAA, A, etc) There are injuries in 6.5, so what's the biggie? The DtD injuries are for high profile players, so you won't be overly swamped with those.

There's an option to turn off emails for news of various sources (world, league, organization, team, or all news).
