I didn't play 2006 for very long. (I didn't last until the final patch). It looked the same as the 2006 player editor. Did you see something new, that I probably missed?

I am in no big hurry though.

The team history leaders will help with my team hall of fame.

Looking at the game setup screenshot; are there other things besides the schedule and spring training setting that I should not change during the season?

I was most impressed and intrigued by the game setup screen. My curiosity was excited on a few points.

1) I was wondering if there was anything that told the human player what strategy changes were being made each year when the "automatically adjust league strategy" option was checked?

2) I was also wondering what some of the other expansion modes were, and of course how they are implemented in-game?

3) Finally, (or at least for now), the Spring training training options weren't shown. I'm hoping we could hear more about Spring training? I think ST deserves its own blog (hint, hint).

I didn't peek at which screenshot this was, but generally, the expansion mode drop-down is an on/off thing. You have automatic expansion (for historical leagues), or you don't.

Well I don't know what stood out for the Wolf but for me it has to be editing BABIP. That's a very useful tool right there to tailoring my players.

"Batting Average on Balls In Play". A measure of the player's Avg. when only taking into account batted balls (ignoring K's, basically).

This is the same option that was represented by a baseball in 2006. I believe it is in the exact same place in 2006.
