Question for the Testers

Does the new version support wrap around seasons (i.e. seasons that, for example, start in November and end in March)? I don't believe this was possible in the 2006 version and I was hoping this had changed.

Huh. I don't know. I'll tell you when I get home, if someone else doesn't pop along with the answer before then...

Good question. I've never tried it. I think it will have problems, though.

It would be nice for this to be in eventually as well. I mean, 2006 will let you run such a season but in the career stats it'll list it as the year when the season started, say if it starts in 2006 and ends in 2007 the line for the player will say "2006" not "2006-7". It would be nice to eventually change this but it hasn't bothered me too much.

I don't mind if it only shows the year the season began (or ended, for that matter) in the stats. I just hope that either in this version of the next you could have a league in your universe play during the true winter months, such as if you had a league in the southern hemisphere.

I just made a fictional league in Brazil. Set it for 8 teams. Started it on Dec 1, 2007. Made it a 88 game season. It went right to the playoffs on March 7th, 2008.

So you're saying it works? Sweet, one less thing for me to have to test.

Well I just did it in OOTP2006. I had an Aussie League play from Dcember 1 to January 28 or something right around that, worked fine. If it did it in 2006 then I'm guessing 2007 will allow it as well.
