Expansion at Start?

I've ordered the sim and trying to get what I want to do planned so when the release comes I'll be ready. I've read a lot of post but I'm still not sure how to set things up.

In 1993 the Rockies and Marlins were added. I would like to GM the Marlins from day one. Set up the team, draft etc. Somehow I need to setup my league so the sim starts when the 1992 season ends. Is there a database where I can get all the right players on their correct 1992 teams?
If someone could give me a step by step on how to do this right I would greatly appreciate it.

Import the 1992 season from Lahman. Play the season out in Commisioner mode. When the season ends and the expansion teams are added (ensure you have expansion enabled) take control of the Marlins.
