Online Leagues Cross Platform?

I have a few friends who are interested in buying OOTP 2007 and setting up an online league. The problem is that 2 of us are on PC's and 2 of us are on Mac's. Are online leagues cross-platform?

Should work fine. Beta testing for online leagues was done with owners using both PC's and Macs in the same league.

Yep, no known problems!

It's going to be great to see a load more online leagues spring up. I might even sign up to one!

I'm one of these SUPERIOR mac users, and I have tested as commish and as a GM, and all is well on that front.

That just would be unfair.

The beta league that I help commish has two mac owners and there haven't been any problems.

Online Draft

I have a quick question -- Does OOTP 2007 allow for online drafts. My brothers and my dad are spread out across the country. If we each purchase the game, can we easily conduct a draft online?

Thanks in advance for your response!

There's no in-game draft management yet, unfortunately (2008, if they listen to my whining ). If you're looking at a very small group - like just your family - it'd be feasible to run a draft "live" online through a chat program or instant messaging client. If you're dealing with a larger group, forum drafts or drafts by e-mailed lists are about the only way to go.

Thanks for the response. I think the lack of an online draft is going to keep me from purchasing OOTP 07. My dad is in his sixties and I need a clean interface for him to operate. Asking him to use an IM is not likely going to be successful.

I bet Getch will update his draft utility for 2007 and you could use that if you have a place to host it. Now buy your OOTP!!

You haven't created a professional American football sim yet
