not having rosters right away has helped me appreciate the fictional/historical part of this game

Promises are rarely a good thing to make. They build expectations in others, whether realistic or not. And, as evident in this thread, things can happen to derail plans. People are "chomping at the bit" because this was played up pretty heavily.

I am really tired of that response. The only reason I am on edge is what happened last year with these roster sets. I would devote time to do one if no one else said they had an amazing set ready to be released. Whats the purpose of doing one when everything originally was being promised before Sunday? I know the great bit of time these guys take to do these roster sets. Its time consuming, its great to have guys volunteer their time to do this. But we played the same game last year of hurry up and wait.

Before anyone replies with the typical response of "import a 2006 set" please find me one that works and I would.

Just venting off some steam, I don't want to see what happened last year again.

I don't know what happened last year, but these rosters were supposed to be done by now. Erich had some problems IRL and APujols was kind enough to take over the workload. Give him a break.

After starting to enter service times for the players I have a new appreciation for people who make rosters. It is incredibly time consuming. Imagine looking up every single player and trying to find out how much mlb service time/40 man roster time and pro years he has.
