With the roster, for the future ameatur drafts, how many rounds do you recommened?

If you use the June 1 release, you will be able to have real players for all 50 rounds that the MLB has

I'd wait for the 2nd release if you're doing an online league. Because I will be updating contracts and service times for the 2nd release

Thats not what I meant, sorry. I mean, does adding 50 players to an organization each year mean too many players for that team?

Well it doesn't in real life

but in the game I dont have that file even begun yet, so there's been no testing as of yet. the feeder leagues will get added to the file after OD

In real life teams don't sign more than about half their drafts picks usually, though. In OOTP, every draft pick is "signed."

and that's go to be fixed because it doesn't happen in NHL Eastside Manager because it's has a Unsigned Prospects Page and this game doesn't and it should along with Team Reports Page.
Will it include the College and Hogh School Baseball Rosters for this year?

It will have colleges for sure... High School is soo hard to find accurate information on. I was originally thinking about doing something like 1 All star team of High School seniors per state with some exceptions. So having a 50-75 team league with the best high school players

How well would the game handle high school ball? We've got a kid here hitting .727 after 8 games.

Yes they are planned for release. i will have a much better time frame once i talk to Erich. but there will definitely be a release at some point tomorroow

Do you think there's a possibility of this coming out around 10:30 AM EST (7:30 PST)? I'm taking a train down the San Diego and I wanted to get some OOTP in while I was on the train.

But if you have limits on your minor league teams they should release enough guys to keep the teams even. And since minor leaguers in OOTP don't have contracts yet it wont affect financials. The only thing I wonder about is if there is a surplus of guys created every year in the draft, will the overall quality of guys that make it through the ranks be higher since there was a larger pool of players? Some testing will have to be done I guess.

These are updated as far as signings go, correct? We're getting 2007 rosters more or less...

From what I've read, this is going to be THE roster set. I think it's going to be completely updated up to opening day.

I think all the updates will be in there. I think the only thing that may be missing is a extremely indepth minor league system which would come in late may/early june.

Also a planned update is coming for OD rosters once BBA releases them.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this.

I would expect it in the evening actually. I still have to catch up with Erich and see if he's got any new ratings for me
