Just so you all know, this year is nothing like last year. All though right about now I am sure you all feel that way. This year things are much more stable and actually there is a great deal more depth being put into the file.
Unfortunately this year I ran into a few issues with my job and kids that have taken up more time than I expected. I actually had planned on giving Markus a file back at the beginning of the month, and to him and Marc I apologize. I didn't expect a few glitchs in my life to occur. Jason has been a huge help in stepping up to help do a bunch of things to finish off the initial release of the roster file, and as he said earlier in the thread there will be a couple more follow up releases that occur that will have the set getting even deeper. I am also in the process of teaching/training him how to set up roster files based on the way that I have been doing it since 2001 and he should be pretty adept at it very soon as well. That way there will be multiple people that have the same rating process and will lead to the creation of bigger stronger files going forward. So please offer to help him with the final touches on this version and going forward but please don't nag him on the release of the set. Having personally already put in around 500 hours of work on this plus the hours that Jason is putting in, it will be out soon and will be followed up by stronger files as well, once we have all the updated Opening Day rosters for the majors and minors. Thank you for your patience Erich

I actually have a huge project that a few people could work on if they wanted...
The kind of person this projects needs is someone that's looking to play with realistic feeder leagues... What's needed: To start an excel sheet that lists rosters for the NCAA Div1 Baseball Schools Info that's needed to start with... Name, Height, Weight, DOB, city of birth, Bats, Throws, Position |

Another Project:
I will need someone with the ability to read Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish and whatever you call Taiwan's language. Because it's hard to find much info on foreign leagues in english. Again this project will probably only be of interest to someone that wants a more complete universe If either of thse projects are something you'd be interested in... Contact me please |

I can read spanish and a little mandarin. I don't think I know enough mandarin to be much help, though.
I'm over here in China right now doing some teaching, so I have a pretty full work load... but I will be able to help out a little if you need me to. I wouldn't be able to devote near as much time as you guys do. pm me if you need me. BTW... thanks for getting these rosters together, fellas. |

I have setup the NCAA without players and am working on logos and names for all D1 teams. I also have the Atlantic League complete without players since they have yet to finalize the players also I will be doing the CAN-AM league soon. Let me know if you want any of this stuff. Let me know if you want the NCAA bit or you already have it done.
Jim My NCAA has problems so I will look it over and see if I can fix it. Sorry Jim Last edited by Jimdawg47 : 03-26-2007 at 10:56 AM. |

In my opinion, I would just release the file without feeder leagues. 9 times out of 10, guys will create feeder leagues that best fits their league. If they plan on a 10 round draft, having 300+ feeder league teams is kinda point less. Guess it depends on the person using the file I guess.
