Is there a place to view the history of a player's ratings?

Not in-game, but there are 3rd party utilities that could probably show this.

I think you need to have the almanac feature turned on as the live game only remembers the current ratings and the previous ratings. (previous as in the one before, not all of them)

Ooh -- point me to them if you know of one.

That would be much easier that the export to html, copy to Excel, tweak, and post to a tracking spreadsheet method that I currently use.

It is for online leagues but I am sure you could set something up for your solo league: BOSI like utility?

One thing to note is that OOTP will automatically make a note of the major player ratings (C/P/E for hitters; S/C/M for pitchers) in the player's history each January 1st. It says something like "SISA updated ratings to XXXX".

It's not complete or necessarily perfect (if you have Scouting on, the ratings will be distorted in the same way that SISA ratings always are), but its a rough guide and better than nothing.

Well I tried to play with the development tracker that was designed for website site, but I couldn't figure out enough Perl code to make it work on a hard drive instead of a website (a lot of / needed to be changed to \)

Any possibility of anyone working on this who knows more programming than I? I think it would be an awesome mod and be very popular.

I'd love to see this, too. I'm a programmer, but know absolutely nothing about Perl. If no one else does, either, I'll give it a look eventually, but will probably mess things up more than help

I wrote the dev utility mod for website. Yeah, unfortunately Linux and Windows flip-flop the slashes. I could convert it to solo/Window's based play, but I thought Comedian wrote a development-type utility for solo leagues... I could be wrong.

So, if he didn't write one, would it be a lot of work to convert yours? Definitely would be a huge upgrade.

Would be really nice to be able to see how these guys progressed. As it is now, the only method I have is to go into each player's history and see the ratings update (pretty lame).

I went ahead and wrote one myself. It's not nearly as pretty as Getch's, but it works (I think).
