Mac Patch problem

I downloaded the 2.0.2 Mac patch, but when I started to install it I noticed that it said 2.0.1 on the installer & after installation my online exports didn't work. I redonloaded the supposed 2.0.2 file, but it still says its the 2.0.1 file upon installation. where can I find the REAL Mac 2.0.2 file?

When I patched, it said 2.02 in the .dmg, but once you install, you'll notice that you have version 2.0.2.53. You can find that number in the bottom left of the main OOTP screen. That's the only number that matters when it comes to online exports.

The number in the bottom left of the main OOTP screen on my screen is still 2.0.1.43

I'm a Mac user & I'm installing the file in the OOTP Baseball 2007 folder, is that correct? Is it supposed to be in the data folder inside the OOTP folder. There has to be something very small (& very stupid on my part) that I'm missing.

There have been a couple of other threads on this problem. I know for me, I had to change the path of the installation from the OOTP Baseball 2007 folder to the actual application (OOTP2007 icon).

hmmm, when I installed it, I went with defaults the whole way, so when I patch I don't have to change anything. I just let it install to where it wants to install.

I don't have the option of installing it on the game icon. I used defaults to install the game as well. I didn't have a problem with the beta or 2.0.1 patch.

I'm starting to wonder if I should uninstall the game entirely & then reinstall it with the 2.0.2 patch. Though, with my luck it would ask me for my liscense number (where ever I put that) & I'd be screwed!

The License stuff is stored on your computer in a different section, so you should be good with that. This has me confused though, I wonder if your just not getting the new patch when you download. Have you cleared your cache and tried redownloading?

I have no idea how to clear my cache, but I've re-downloaded the file numerous times.

IF your using firefox, go to Tools/Clear Private Data, and you'll see a list of things to clear. If your using Safari, Go to the Safari menu, then choose Empty Cache.
