Simming years as Human team

Hello all -

I've gone through and set up my league and now I'd like to sim a few years to generate some stats and let my modifiers take effect. What's the easiest way to do this while allowing AI to do what they will with my team in my absense?

Vacation....Although you might still get fired, if not in commish mode. It might be best for what your doing as to not create your manager profile untill you are ready to take over the team.

I'd normally resign from the team, then when you want to take over again, go into Commissioner mode from Manager --> Options, and go to Available Jobs and take over again. This way, the record of your team during your absence won't be on your manager record, and you'll have uninterrupted simming as long as you like. If, instead, you want the team's record to count on your manager record, you should be ok if you go to Manager Options and hand over all controls to the AI. You'll still find that the sim stops at the end of each season (to report your season score), and occasionally the AI doesn't seem to assign dfa'ed players correctly, so you may occasionally be asked to make a transaction and restart the sim.

I did not take over a team until I was done simming. You might have to jump into commish mode to get the team you want, but it is really easy.
