Scheduling games. GAH!

Alright. Entering year 2 of my dynasty the computer...

...something.

Long story short, I switched from a 140 game balanced schedule to 144 unbalanced (two divisions.) I just now noticed it gave me a 140 game...

...something else.

It appears to be sorta balanced between each team regardless of division (15 games, one at 16, one at 19) with home/away completely off the wall. A repair job might be too much, but I'd at least like to get it back to 144 games.

Can someone tell me how (if) one can modify the schedule? Either that or make it try again?

Yes you can, but it a very tedious process.

Go to the schedule editor.

You may want to take a look at this recent thread.

Increasing # of Games for Season?

After you change the schedule from 140 games to 144 you need to Regenerate Schedule. Once you do that the 144 should stick.

Thanks, Kuttner. That must be what happened. It doesn't really explain the home/away differentials, but perhaps the computer was confused at that point and did the best it could.

I'll remember to force a regenerate before season 3 to make sure everything takes.

Eugene: Thanks for pointing me to the edit. I added four games to get up to where I wanted. Repairing the other 140 games sounds... really painful, so I'm going to assume each time is helped/penalized roughly by the same amount and it rebalances.

'Course the characters in the dynasty aren't going to be happy...
