Export

Is there a way to easily export a whole league and import it onto a different computer?

I'm going to improvise here because I don't have the game with me, but there is a folder in My Documents called Sports Interactive. Open that up and click down through OOTP Baseball 2007/data/saved games. In that folder should be a folder with the same name as the one that you gave your game when you created it and the name that you see in parentheses next to Continue Game when you start OOTP.

Say your game is named "Major League Baseball." The folder that I am talking about in saved games will be named Major League Baseball.lg and that will be the folder that you will want to copy to some medium large enough to accommodate it. Depending on how large your universe is and how long you have been playing it, it may be very large and contain thousands of files.

Lets say you used a USB flash drive to copy Major League Baseball.lg; all you have to do now is take that drive and copy that folder to the SAME location on the other computer where you have installed OOTP. That is, My Documents/Sports Interactive/data/saved games. When you next start OOTP on this machine, choose Load Game (not Continue Game) and one of the choices (if not the only one) will be "Major League Baseball."

The only things that might still be missing are ballpark photos, if you saved any; these are stored elsewhere (/data/ballparks, IIRC) and would have to be copied manually from one computer to the other. Other custom files, like logos, caps, and jerseys, you would want to copy to the same locations in the other computer but only for the purpose of any new games that you create over there, as copies of these are contained in the Major League Baseball.lg folder.

Hopefully, this will take you less time to do then it took to type this. It really is not as complicated as I made it sound.

Dola,

After all that, it just occurred to me that you may be referring to just one league within your game, rather than the entire game. If that is what you mean, you want to export a league and import it into an existing game on the other computer, then I don't think that can be done AFAIK. At least not without a lot of manipulations that are beyond me. Sorry.
