ai trade logic

is it just me or is trading with computer run teams pretty hard nowadays...can't seem to fleece other teams like I could with previous versions.

I agree. It's much harder and to my delight has made the game that much more challenging.

It is very hard. I have a 25 yr old 1B/3B in AAA rated at 68/68 and the AI offers nothing but 20/30 SP or CF. Seems like it knows I'll have to let him go for nothing eventually.

I'm always suspicious that the AI has ESP. When it undervalues a seemingly good player that makes me think he is starting on the decline curve.

It is definately more challenging to trade now...and I do like that. I did manage to trade an underacheiving catcher in my fictional league and pick up one a few years younger with similar skills...and much to my delight my new catcher has been much more productive...

and when checking on my old catcher, he is still mired in his under-acheivedness...with previous versions, it always seemed when I traded players away...they'd start playing like they should have been.
