Newbie Question: Where are waivers?

I've played multiple seasons, but can't find waivers anywhere. Where is it? Is there an option that shuts waivers on and off?

Game menu
Game setup
League setup tab
Rules tab
Under "Waiver Period Length" Select "Waiver Rule Disabled" to turn off waivers or select number of days. 3 days is the default.

Sorry, but I've gone to that Rules tab and don't see any Waiver option. I'm seeing "DH/Roster/Trade Rules..." Where's the waiver setting?

Waiver problem

I have waivers on for 3 days. When I claim someone (major or minor league contract, it says my claim was accepted). But 3 days later the player is not added to my team ... he get dumped in the FA pool. Help!

he's probly going to your DFA area and 3 days later dumped into the FA pool (guessing your DFA is set to 3 days), it could also be that you have the AI doing roster moves for your team and the AI does'nt want the player.

If your "claim is accepted", that means at the time you make the claim, no team with higher waiver priority has yet made one. That doesn't ensure you'll get the player, however; it may be that a team with a worse record than you claims the player the next day, in which case they will get the player (there is, however, no reason they should end up in the FA pool unless they are released by the waiving team). If your waiver claim is successful (different from being 'accepted'), you will receive a news message informing you that your claim has been successful and that the player is in your dfa screen, so if you didn't receive the message, it's not an issue with AI control of your transactions. Instead, the player was either released or claimed by another team (in which case, you receive no message at all)- check your transactions log to find out exactly what happened.

This may make me sound deliberately obtuse, but...does your league have any affiliated minors?
