Here is a bit of detective work for you all to do:

I was messing around with my league and decided to import a historic team into my league. I decided to bring in a certain team and change the names around a bit. See if you can guess who they are:

Hey, first guess! I cheated though and tossed in Seaver, (He's George S. Shaw) even though Seaver didn't get there until 1977. Seaver's wikipedia entry had a funny story about how the NY Sportswriters reacted to that trade.

The give away was Charlie "Ready" Red (Pete "Charley Hustle" Rose). After that I needed to find when Ken Griffey Sr. played with him. The rest fell into place. Thanks for the brain teaser.
