I've been working on a bit of a booster pack for my facial hair mod here:

Bobble's Facial Hair Mod

Here's a preview. Once putfile.com gets back up and running, I'll put it up there and it will be available to the mod sites and everyone.

Nice work. However the "landing strip" doesn't look like any landing strip I ever saw.

Sorry. It would have been up a week ago if putfile would cooperate. If anyone knows of someplace I can upload 24Meg, I'm all ears (well, ears and a couple beards).

Here's the readme:

Facial Hair Styles - Booster Pack
by Bobble

How to install:

Step 1: Backup your current files in the OOTP2007/data/facegen folder. You should have already done this if you installed the original Bobble Facial Hair stuff

Step 2: Extract the contents of the zip file into your OOTP2007/data/facegen folder. This will overwrite some of the existing facial hair files.

I've created another 21 different facial hair styles, each in the 5 hair colors. I've also updated a few of the files from the original facial hair pack. I've included in this zip file a sample of what each new facial hair looks like in the file, FacialHairMapBooster.jpg. You can set the frequencies for how often each type off facial hair will appear in OOTP by going in-game to Game\Game Setup\Player and Picture Options\. Remember to hit enter after setting each value.

The filenames for all the files I've made were left in lower case. This should help you denote them in-game.

I hope you enjoy the mod. Any questions or comments, please post on the OOTP forums.

I put the files in the indicated folder but it did not overwrite any files. Might I have done something wrong? The files that were in there were stock (no previous mods).

I didn't "see" anything overwritten either, Chow. But I didn't start up the game and find that all the new ones had been added in there at 0 settings. Must have worked! It doesn't look like you missed anything.

They would have overwritten files if you installed the original Bobble Facial Hair Mod (TM) which, if I do say so myself, is well worth it's hefty $0.00 price tag.

Hmm. It should have overwritten the skip goat files, thin goat, and a couple of others (again, IF you installed the original mod). If you want to double-check that they got overwritten, the files should have an 8/7 date. IF they didn't get updated, no biggie. They were just minor updates to the files.
