Salary Issue's

I have a on-line league starting in the year 1970 the problem we are having is the players are asking outrageous amounts of money for new contracts It's not even close to what money contracts were in 1970.

Is there a way that I can make it that contracts are in line with the year we're in? and if so how?

Game Setup --> League Setup --> Rules. Adjust the Typical Salaries fields at the bottom of the Financial Rules section.

Also, players adjust their demands to the amount of money in the league, so if your teams are hoarding lots of Cash, you will see increased demands (this is only 'checked' by the game on the first day of an offseason, however, so removing any excess Cash won't have an effect until your next winter).

Can I make the salary changes in mid season or will that screw everything up?

An odd salary question. I would like to resign a couple of my guys in my online league but the game constantly tells me I don't have the money to do so. Obviously the game is wrong as I have millions dollars in cash to spend and am under budget by quite a lot. Is this a bug? And is there any way to fix it?
