What is the oldest back that you can import a league from with this game -- OOTP 6? 5? 4? I'm a few generations behind (and needing to catch up quickly)...

quick question, i'm currently on dialup out in the country and the d-load is 5% complete with 9 hours estimated time remaining.

Could I just drive into town to my parents house and download the OOTP8 setup file on their high speed internet to my USB memory drive, then bring it home and install it, and still use the OOTP2007 discount code?

Yup, can't see any reason why not. I purchased the licence code on my mobile phone...

Without loading the game up, I think it's 6.12/6.5 as listed on the main game screen.

Yep.

However, if you need to convert from an older version, you can use the demo versions of previous versions to get your saved game into 6.x

ftp://ftp.ootpdevfiles.com/pub/ootp

That's got installers going all the way back to OOTP2, so you should be able to get whatever you need.

Actually, what he may be talking about is the OOTP 8 classic skin. It does look more appealing to me than the classic skin in OOTP 2007. Anybody else notice that and agree?

Can someone please tell me where to find my license number for 07? I remember it used to be on the splash screen for 6.51. Where can I access it so I can upgrade? PLEASE

C:\program files\sports interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\receipt.txt (or license.txt).

If you still have the e-mail receipt that was sent to you when you bought the game, it's in there.

If you go to Start --> Control Panel --> eLicense Control, it should be in there as well.

If that doesn't work, go to Start --> Run, select your OOTP2007 executable and add -unlicense to the end of the command line. That will bring up a screen displaying your license number (you don't have to go through with the unlicense procedure; just copy down the Order ID and hit Exit).

Lastly, I imagine contacting eLicense themselves would work, but that really shouldn't be necessary.

If I was quoted a price for something, and then charged double I would be upset, not matter how much, or little the difference was. 1Cent or a million dollars doesn't change the fact your being ripped off.

As far as OOTP, for me I see the 5 bucks as supporting Markus, so I will be buying.

So it's mushrooms? I've been wondering what it was for some time now.

The only thing I ever do with the classic skin is to replace it with the OOTP blue skin as soon as possible.

I'm clicking the download link so I can DL it and get it, but it's not working. Any reason why?

EDIT: Nevermind. I think it's the school's internet being dumb.
