I've just gone to license it and it's not giving me a price of $19.99...

It's giving me $29.00 (approximately) as the price.

If you're going to say it's $19.99 then at least make sure e-licence get it right.

No sale here then...

We always get the bum deal over here in Europe, and it wasn't even made clear on the first post that us Europeans were going to have to pay a 50% premium...

Disgrace...

I would personally like to thank RyanW for creating the utility that is used to convert the cato database into the lahman like CSVs when people go to convert their history. Without that, this wouldn't be possible!

I can't argue with that.

That would have been ideal, but I doubt it's all that practical from a programming standpoint. They probably came upon these new bugs while they were working on the new stuff and it might not be as simple as just making another patch and then the expansion separate. The code is probably mixed together and therefore interdependent. I don't really know, it's just that my limited knowledge on the subject leads me to believe that that would likely be the case.

And I've noticed the licence screen says $19.99 before deciding to change it to €19.99 ($29.00)...

Back on the CATO, if you import it a second time does it double everything that's already there or will it ignore data that is already in the game?

There isn't a demo version, is there?

Not that I could see... though the demo might come out when Lahman database 2007 is done.

Did it show $19.99 on the purchase screen before you clicked next?

I'm getting €19.99 displayed before clicking next..

Hopefully it's just a mistake and they'll correct it soon. If they advertise it at a certain price it should be that price. In fact, if memory serves me correctly, that's usually the law.

That's the difference then. It looks to see where you are before applying the approximately $10 European penalty charge...

You're from Canada though. Being from the UK he may get charged the euro.

If I hadn't noticed that it had changed currency and purchased it, would I have stood a chance of getting a refund from elicense or OOTP? Probably not. If the first post had said €19.99 as the price it would have been fine, but it clearly states the $ price - given Markus lives in Germany not getting the local currency price right seems a bit amiss.

If I wasn't happy with the results the first time, I deleted the .lg folder and pasted in another copy to try again. Never tried importing a second time.

Canada and US dollar are at parity right now, so what dollar stuff is set too shouldn't make any difference.

The SION stuff: Annoying, but I'll just pretend it stands for Sports Illustrated.
