Financial Question
Here's the situation: Some friends and I are playing a historical league with real players starting in 1970. We have the financials turned off (no free agency). We are getting personal messages from players in the final year of their contracts saying they want to resign.
Here's our question: Do we need to resign them? What happens if we don't? Will they become "free agents"? Will it mess up our financial structure for signing them? An added note: Free agency will begin in 1976 for our league. Thanks! |

If you don't have free agency on, you don't need to sign them, and you actually shouldn't be getting those messages. I've never played without financials, so I'm not sure if this is something that always happens.
