Is OOTP 8 compatible with Leopard?

Is ootp 8 compatible with Leopard? I downloaded the program and clicked on the installer package but nothing happens. I tried several times, the wheel turns but that's it. I was wondering if the game worked with Leopard?

I also have the 2006 and 2007 ootp game and they will not work since I upgraded to Leopard. Is there a fix?

I haven't gone to OOTP 2008 yet, so I can't speak to that... but 2007 works fine for me when I upgraded to Leopard.

I've been able to run OOTP '07 and '08 just fine on Leopard. The only thing I can't seem to do is import rosters (e.g. CubbyFan Roster). It crashes every time.

Works fine in Leopard here, but sadly still no scroll wheel support. Looks like the Windows version for me again this year.

I tried installing it on my tortoiseshell. She was very upset. Good luck getting a leopard to stand still long enough to try!

Remember that this isn't the new version of the game, just an update to 2007. OOTP 9 was announced for next year, so hopefully scroll wheel support makes it in that version.

and, yes, OOTP8 works in Leopard just fine.

I would be very shocked and extremely disappointed if scroll wheel support didn't make it into OOTP 9.

Since I know the codebase well, the issue involves a major rewrite of many of the lowerlevel Mac files. We've only just fixed it for our code but I'm more than willing to give Andreas a helping hand when they get to that for OOTP9!`
