Starting Lineup Question
Once I've set my lineup, and start a game to manage, the lineup in the starting pre-game screen is not the lineup that I have set.
If I `cancel' the game before actually starting it, and go back to my team batting lineups, they are the way I have set them. Also, if I go to the opposing team lineup screen, it is the same as what is shown in the game starting screen. I am not playing with designated hitters, so that is not the issue. The lineup pre-game is completely different than what I have set. The only way I can make it use the lineups I have set is to select the 7 day lineup option. Please help. Check your depth charts. Maybe the computer is trying to play guys off the bench. This happens to me sometimes. I like to tweak strategy a bit to make sure that my starters play as much of the game as they can and I like to set my depth chart up to only replace players when they are too tired to play, unless I am platooning. The AI has the tendency to try to force bench players into the lineup way too much. You can correct it simply by doing the depth chart by hand.
