Compensation Picks (eg. type a, b, free agents)

I heard somewhere that you can get compensation picks for players in this game. But when simming through a quickstart the other day I didn't see any of this compensation draft picks or a supplementary first round in the draft. I've since created a new fictional league and was wondering how I could activate this feature.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated..

I believe it's under Game /Game Setup / Rules / Financial Setup.

Thanks for the direction. The actual path is: Games > Game Set Up > League Set Up > (Select League) > Rules > Financial Rules.

Note that you won't see a supplemental first round no matter what you do. In OOTP, compensation doesn't quite work like real life, unfortunately- there are detailed descriptions elsewhere of the problems with OOTP's compensation model, which you should be able to find by searching the forums.
