Solo league websites
Do you host a web site for your solo league? Why?
I have webspace I use for our family site and never really considered using it for OOTP. http://www.ohiogages.com if anyone wants to see pics of my newborn twins.

I do. So that in my spare time at work or even at home I can browse through my league. When I'm sitting at my desk looking at OOTP the game, I'm all business and don't really care about the "feel good" stories so to say.

I think solo web sites would be great. Especially for those who post in the dynasty forums. You could just post the link for people who wanted to check out more stats in your league.
My question is that are the files too large when you get through 75 years of simming. If so i dont want to have to pay for a website just for that. |

DreamTeams's Metro Leagues have their own website, but it's one of the few solo leagues which does, as far as I know. |

I've avoided maintaining a site for this specific reason. I know I'd be spending alot of time at work looking through all the sites and studying all the players. I spend enough time on this forum as it is!

I think it would be worth it so you could use Getch's online util for your league so you could better track development.

dola,
It's not as good as Getch's utility. Not close, really. But it does help track development well.

I've considered it, but my leagues generally don't last long so the effort would probably not be worth it.

Nice. Didn't realize someone had done this. Guess I don't stay up to speed with things on the general board as much as I did in the past.
