Asus Eee 4g

Good evening,

I just ordered an ASUS EEE 4G to be my second laptop and new toy for 2008. Basically, I've gotten tired of lugging my Dell Inspiron around, which is an awesome desktop replacement (17" screen, which is great but pretty heavy).

Has anyone had any experience running OOTP on an ASUS EEE? The processor is just a 900MHz Celeron M (I'm immediately upgrading to 1GB), so I expect that it will be quite a bit slower then my other laptop (Core Duo with 2GB RAM). But any thoughts on what should I expect?

I don't need to run OOTP on the new machine for it to worth it, but it sure would be nice.

Forgot to mention: I'll immediately be upgrading the OS to XP.

I know that OOTP won't run on Linux!

In runs on linux perfectly.

About two months ago I could have sworn that there was a minor bitchfest either on this board or another about
OOTP 9 not running on Linux...

You have to run it using WINE, there's no native Linux verison.
