Best way to play two-player league?

This might be a dumb question -- but I'm kind of stumped as to go about doing this. A buddy and me wanted to both play out our games in a league and then when he finished his, he could send a file to me to import for his results. I remember being able to do this in an old version of OOTP but I've been playing around with the game for a bit and can't figure out how to in OOTP8. Any help?

if memory serves me correctly, this is not possible in the most recent versions.

Yeah, I don't think it's possible to do it that way now. But what you can do is send the league file back and forth, each playing 2 games in a row leapfrogging each other.

The #1 reason I stopped playing

I would like to see this in the game mechanics somehow

there has to be a way, an easy way, for two or more people to play their games in the same league


untill then ... game is collecting dust

this is not a slam ... just the AI is boring, sometimes it bests me sometimes I best it ... but it is boring

OOTP would need to remove the Manager mode and bring back the 6.5 system. Which I have commented on before. I hate the Manager mode.

I never use the Manager Mode. It is not anything like how I play OOTP. I think of myself more as an owner than as even a GM (albeit a very active sort of Steinbrennerian owner whose GM is more like an assistant). The only way I can play is in commissioner mode, which isn't ideal.
