Good news and the waiting time is not that long (may is my birth mounth). I just hope that the injury pitcher crashing game bug will be finally corected. Yes, I have the last version of 2007.

Thanks for the update.
While I am eagerly anticipating the release of ootp 9 it's good to know that the release isn't going to be rushed out just because it's opening day.

I think most of us understand the reasons for the delay.

I am still enjoying 2007 and play fictional leagues so it doesn't really matter if it's opening day or sometime in May when it's released as I will play multiple seasons anyways.
But for a lot I'm sure they are getting the urge to play a new game since it's now baseball season.

Just do your best to keep us updated so we have something to talk about, argue about, speculate about and we will be happy.

This would be awesome. The game would berate you whenever you made a mistake or misused a feature. And only Confederate players would be generated by the AI.

I just had lunch with 11 Markuses and they told me that feature wouldn't be in.

I don't see it in 2007. The game fills only 1/2 (or less) of my 22" LCD monitor. Am I doing something wrong?

Edit: OK, I see it now, thank you for that, but the game window is only about 11 1/2" wide and 9 inches tall. I think I should be able to fill the whole screen with the game.

You can, just select full screen mode instead of windowed in game preferences.

Yea!! I got it now! What a difference! I'm glad I brought it up, because who knows how long I would have struggled with 1024x768. Thanks.

I remember trying full screen mode once but it seemed the refresh rate on my monitor was reset to 60 Hz for OOTP's displaying, and that's far too low a rate, especially when one is used to 75 Hz. As a result I used and stayed with windowed mode.

Nope. Screen resolution has no appreciable impact on performance.

was this a recent fix, because I've noticed that in 2007 the larger the screen the longer the delay between plays at least on the broadcast screen as the player positions change. I haven't tried it with the last 2007 patch nor do I have 8

Perhaps I should clarify by saying "if there is any performance difference, I was unaware of it".
