Creating minor leagues once season has begun

Is this possible?

I did it with an experimental league that I have because I didn't want to just leave my subs on a reserve roster.

The game allowed me to create a Triple A league like I wanted but none of the players ended up there for any team, even after a few days of playing games. And I can't gain control of any of the teams in Triple A (even the franchise i manage) to try and manually pick up the players. Just curious what to do, as I'd like my guys not on the active roster to have some minor league experience (mostly so I can see how good they are or aren't)...

thanks

Is the minor league affiliated with your league or is it independant?

it is affiliated or at least i think it is ... each of the major league teams has one team under it listed as "affiliated team" ... you can click on the AAA teams but they have no players, no schedule, etc. i can't seem to get any of that stuff together ...

I should note that when i view my own roster I have to option to look at "active roster" or "all players of organization" ...

i basically just want one level of minors for now ...
