Some Help Importing Certain Teams

Sorry if this is a newbie question coming from a guy who has played several months.

My goal is to make a 12 team league, two divisions, using my favorite teams from the 1974 season (and yeah, I got pretty creative mixing AL and NL teams into the two divisions so they make sense, by golly.

).

I began editing fictional players to real life players in 74. But, is there an easier way to import specifically the twelve teams I want? By the way, when I try to import an historical league it takes forever and usually hangs up. I did get the 77 season one long, lucky afternoon.

At any rate, any help?

Just an update since this has received 42 views, but no replies. You guys stink!

I found the import button for historical teams. I highlighted the master cvs file (which I believe is where Lahman sits?). But when given the option to choose which team I wanted to import, no teams were there.

Ah well. I had the 77 season and simply deleted down to 12 teams. It works. I begin the dynasty in God-Mode. By the way, that's a heckuva fun way to play. No more AI problems and if you think making smart moves for one team is a challenge, try 12. But you get the hang of it pretty quickly. Interestingly, you get favorite players and treat them accordingly, which gives a human touch to the management of all teams.
