How the heck do I ....?

Search for a player?? In the manual, section 1.6.2 (item #7) it says:
By entering text into the search box and pressing the Enter key, you are able to quickly find any player, team personnel member, or team in your baseball universe. The search engine is not case-sensitive, and it
does not support Boolean commands such as AND, OR, or NOT.

But I don't see anyplace to enter text into any search box.

Top right corner if I remember correctly, with a magnifying glass symbol next to it.
